Resident concerned about road plans in Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park

We are infrequent visitors to Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park, but are comforted to know that it is there, unspoiled and available for our enjoyment, whenever we wish.

The proposal to cut a throughway-sized swath through the middle of the park boggles the mind, especially when the purpose is clearly to placate a tiny group of cottagers who knew very well what they were getting into when they purchased their lots.

Once the throughway goes through, can power lines, sewers and other services be far behind, along with crowds of  entrepreneurs drooling for the opportunity to make a buck developing the Cosens Bay area?
