We are writing this letter because we are angry and appalled at the audacity of those who invade your private property.

Our mom had passed away on the weekend of Sept. 16 we had moved our mother’s belongings to our home to be stored in the garage on our property. Sometime under the cover of darkness someone came into our yard through the main door on the garage (which we inadvertently forgot to lock) and stole a TV. What the scariest part is someone had to be watching in broad daylight to know it was even there and how to get in - we are certain it is someone who lives close by in our neighborhood and can see or watch our every move. We have had other thefts from our yard in the past.

We are already grieving and this just adds more sadness and stress. Shame on you whoever you are. Did it mean that much to you to have this TV? You should have came and asked we would have probably given it to you.

The purpose of this letter is that we hope someone reads this and has a heart or conscience and returns it or a parent might question their adolescent child as to where they got a TV.

Whoever these perpetrators are they/you are a despicable coward and need to be caught.

We absolutely need more police presence up here on Easthill patrolling at night as there is all sorts of things going on but sad to say that Joe Citizen will never catch them. We can’t sit up all night trying to protect out home.

So, if the police patrolled occasionally it might help curb this criminal activity.
