Why does Vernon city council feel the need to spend money on external cosmetic changes to the recreation complex when it needs internal changes to rooms that are in daily use?
The weight room is overcrowded, the kitchen needs more space and the hall where bridge is played almost every day is dingy and crowded.
It’s as if the patient went to their doctor complaining of internal pains only to have him prescribe a haircut.
Better exterior lighting is needed.
The rest of the proposed changes are a waste of money.
Did the council get input from the people that actually use the facilities, or were they influenced by the image of themselves schmoozing on the terrace with their lattes?
