We have all had our futures limited by politicians who do not have enough vision to see past the end of their noses.
We need intelligence combined with a caring attitude toward those who elect them, namely us. We need more than change. Reform our system, reclaim the losses we have suffered and reconcile our differences.
I cannot tell you how to vote, but start the ball rolling locally. As the saying goes, throw a good stone into a pool of water and the ripples will spread out to every shore.
This is the most beautiful area I have ever seen, and many people go away to work and come back to retire here.
We should have other jobs besides looking after us old folks. In the Nov. 19 civic elections, vote intelligently and soberly for a better form of government.
