The controversy over the Stickle Road access question could be solved quite easily with the installation of a roundabout (traffic circle) at that junction.
In Europe, it is very common to drive up to what are called roundabout interchanges, which direct traffic from a major highway to a smaller road or vice versa.
The Stickle Road situation would appear to be ideal for this kind of construction.
Has anyone or any government organization considered a roundabout as a solution?
Common sense would indicate that this would address everyone’s concerns.
