Sidewalk woes

Resident questions sidewalks on 20th Street, off of Pleasant Valley Road

I am writing about the so-called sidewalks on 20th Street, off of Pleasant Valley Road down to 43rd Avenue.

They are not cement, they are asphalt. They are falling apart and there is grass growing up between the cracks. They are very uneven.

With the gouges and cracks in some places, you have to walk single file or on the street.

There are poles and cut-off pieces of pipe. On 20th Street, there is a maple tree and bushes growing through the fence.

There are a lot of elderly people living on 20th Street. Surely something should be done before someone falls and is seriously hurt.

By the way, there is no sidewalk at all on the right-hand side of the street. The road is nothing to brag about either.
