Now is the time for the conundrum of the Stickle Road traffic light to end. It is long past the common sense stage and has moved on to political face-saving.
Whenever politicians screw up big time, there is no limit to the amount of public money they will spend to placate us and stroke their own egos.
Destroying one of our Okanagan treasures by extending 20th Street is nothing short of environmental terrorism. Our best bet would be to force a hold on the proposed project until the next election when these heavy-handed buffoons can be replaced with clearer thinking minds.
