As much as I agree with Mr. Thachuk on the government spending $9 million on the alternative, I also do not want to see a light at the highway-Stickle intersection.
I myself would find it annoying seeing a lone vehicle crossing/ getting onto the highway and stopping the many more on the highway.
I've crossed the highway at Stickle a number of times with no problem.
Maybe the highways department could take more time and go back to the drawing board and get a lower bid....maybe.
