I want to thank everyone who had a part in saving my fiancée’s life.
She was in a terrible accident near Falkland. Her truck rolled several times and caught fire, leaving her trapped, unconscious and bleeding. Many brave citizens stopped to help and phoned 911. Without them, the outcome would have been very different.
I also want to thank emergency medical services, the fire department, the Enderby RCMP, Vernon Jubilee Hospital and dog control. You all make a difference every day.
Christina asked me to say, “Thank you so much for your bravery and for rescuing me.” She feels very fortunate to have survived with only a scalp laceration and bruises. I thank you not only for myself but on behalf of Christina and our family. The gratitude we feel today will remain with us forever.
