TLC needed

Local landscaping needs some help

I just want to comment on a few things that are a bit disheartening to me.

1. Why was the beautiful tree in Rotary Park on 43rd Avenue cut down and is something going to be planted in its place?

My granddaughter and I loved to go sit there with our ice cream in the shade, now all that is there is an ugly stump. It looks terrible.

2. The state of 43rd Avenue landscaping outside of the businesses looks like a ghetto.

There are weeds and giant stumps that were once obviously beautiful trees, not to mention the constant garbage that is thrown along there.

Further down all of the way to 32nd Street is about the same. It’s not very attractive.

Surely we should take more pride in how our city looks not only to visitors but we the people that live here.

It’s time to put some TLC into our city.
