Watching the International Children's Games opening ceremonies recently in Kelowna, I would like to acknowledge the athletes from the Westbank First Nation,
As they were filing into their seats, every one of those wonderful young people took the time to show respect to their elders who were seated in the front row.
That respect, that sense of honour, that sense of family and community is what life is really all about.
