Ted Fullerton (centre) is the third member of the Vernon Curling Club's Senior Men's Drop-In League to turn 90 years of age. The milestone was ceelbrated with cake Nov. 5, organized by executive member Stuart Russell (left), while fellow executive member Art Lord enjoys a piece of the Black Forest goodness.

These nonagenarians had no problem eating cake.

The Vernon Curling Club's Senior Men's Drop-in League recently welcomed Ted Fullerton to its list of 90-year-old curlers.

Fullerton received a piece of birthday cake provided in his honour by the league following curling on Nov. 5.

He joins Peter Jones and Larry Gilchrist – both 91 – as the league's nonagenarians.

Senior men's drop-in is open to men aged 50 and over. The curling takes place every Tuesday and Thursday morning. There are no fixed teams. The teams are formed from those present each morning by a draw system.
