Vernon Figure Skating Club’s Taylan Dennis and Hannah Love competed well in the first competition of the year in the North Okanagan Region.

Dennis skated magically to her music from the movie Legends of the Fall and placed second in the Junior Silver Women.

Love, who just came off of a two-month ankle injury, glided her way into fifth spot out of 12 skaters in the category of Junior Bronze Ladies 13 and over.

The Vernon club skaters are now busy training for their next competition, Dec. 3-4, in Winfield.
