Jennifer Gartner went 6-for-6 with a home run as the Ice Cold Pitches grounded the Competition Exteriors Dynamite 24-11 in Vernon Women’s Slo-Pitch League play Wednesday night at Kin Park.
Brittany Housego went 5-for-6 with a golden glove in left field to help the Pitches, while Courtney Bissell was 4-for-5 with a three-run homer and Tracy Bell chimed in with three hits, including a dinger.
Tracy Solmes went 4-for-6 and turned in dynamic defence at third place for the Pitches, while Stephanie Worthington had five hits in five at bats.
Shaina Mcgiverin was 4-for-5 with a triple, while Kailea Kibblewhite batted 4-for-5 and was sharp at first base.
Jen Ternier went 5-for-5 for the Nitros, while Leigha Stenhouse, Shelly Ouellette and Linda Castonguay each supplied four hits.
Tenacity outlasted the Whitehouse Mortgage Gators 18-12 with Bonnie Miller knocking in three runs on four hits and Elli Lane posting three hits and one run for Tenacity.
Predator Trucking shaded the Renegades 14-13 in mixed action with Jared Sochan going 4-for-4 with a home run and three RBI and a Josh Donaldson-like snag at third base.
Jeff Stevenson was 3-for-4 with three RBI, Jesie Harms 4-for-4 and Ryan Marchand 3-for-4 to support Predator Trucking.
