Connor Glennon of Vernon scored twice as the Thompson Okanagan FC shut down Mountain FC 2-0 in B.C. Premier Soccer League U14 Boys play Saturday in Coquitlam.

Taitum MacAulay of Vernon earned the shutout, making a brilliant low save late in the opening half.

In U13 Boys play, Thompson Okanagan and Mountain battled to a scoreless draw.

Vernon’s Owen Miller was a standout on the Okanagan back line along with Ryan Hoogveld of West Kelowna, Easton Kinikin of Kelowna, Garrett Cruickshank of Penticton and Mitch Sloan of Kelowna.

Keeper Evan Scholes of Kelowna recorded a fabulous save off a first-half free kick.
