Armstrong’s Brett Hawrys and the Coquitlam Adanacs have jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven Junior A Lacrosse Minto Cup with the Six Nations Arrows.
Game 3 went Tuesday night at the Langley Events Centre.
The Adanacs stuffed the Arrows 11-6 in Game 2 Sunday night in Langley. James Rahe had three goals, while Hawrys and Eli McLaughlin produced 2+2 apiece and singles came from Michael Messanger and Jordan Gilles. Wesley Berg chipped in with five assists.
Quinn Powless scored two goals and assisted on two more for Six Nations. Hawrys supplied an assist in Game 1 as the Adanacs edged the Arrows 7-6 Saturday night. Game 4 goes tonight with the fifth game, if necessary, set for Thursday.
