Maroons maul Lakers

Fulton Maroons shell Kalamalka Lakers 39-0 in North Zone Senior Boys Rugby League action

Fulton Maroons improved to 2-0 in the North Zone Senior Boys Rugby League, travelling to Coldstream Thursday and knocking off the Kalamalka Lakers 39-0.

Jeff Han scored a try, converted three others and added a penalty kick for the Maroons, who opened the season with a 27-22 win over the Vernon Panthers.

“Fulton had a huge improvement in this game from the last one against VSS,” said Maroons co-coach Graysen Marsh, who handles the sidelines with his father, Brad. “Our rucking and tackling was 100 per cent better and the boys stayed strong throughout the game. They deserved the win.”

David Hang and Christian Harp were among the try scorers for the Maroons.

The Panthers visit the Lakers Monday.
