Nitros ice Concept

The Davidson & Co. Dynamite brushed back Concept Physio 3-2 in North Okanagan Men’s Soccer League action Wednesday night at Marshall Field #2.

Sean Czerwonka, Carson Haywood-Farmer and David Patino handled the scoring for the Nitros, who improved to 2-0.

Enzo Paal on a penalty shot, and Brock Reim, who followed up his header on a corner to put in the rebound, replied for the 0-1 Physio crew.

Centre midfielder Kyle Halvorson scored on a pair of gorgeous runs as North Enderby Timber bounced Monashee Surveying 4-1 at Marshall #5.

Midfielder Harminder Sandhu scored on a tap in from 12 yards out to make it 2-0 NET, while striker Brent Poulsen, who was marked hard all night by stellar defender Ryan Sharp, completed the offence with his own rebound off keeper Colin McDonell’s stomach.

McDonell’s save of the match was a sprawling effort on a 25-yard corker by Devin Janke. Cam Clary countered for Monashee (0-1) on a nifty zig-zag run around a defender. Danny Stein earned the win for 2-0 NET.

Turn Key Controls won 1-0 by forfeit over the Revelstoke Stallions.

Meanwhile, Vernon products Kurt Seiler, Mike Bennett, Finlay McPhie and Meno Burnet helped the Thompson-Okanagan U14 Selects take silver in the U15 division at the Lake Country Ice Breaker.
