The Lumby Pee Wee Stars, sponsored by Bannister GM and Great West Equipment, wrapped their minor hockey season with an awards banquet.
Awards were presented to Mia Maltman (Most Sportsmanlike), Parker Stadnyk (Goalie Award), Quintin O’Neill and Andrew Ranelli (Most Improved), Linden Catt and Tye Krause (Most Valuable Players), Peter Romailler (Best Defenceman), Zachary Young and Ryder Quibell (Most Dedicated) and Kaleb Pachal and Domenik Porteous (Heart and Hustle).
The team thanks coaches Cole Young, Kirk Krause, Todd Prentice, Kevin Porteous, Mike Quibell and the late Peter Catt, along with manager Tara Young. Also receiving thanks were Mike Melbourne from Sun Valley Source For Sports, parents, grandparents, siblings and businesses who supported the team.
