Hill scored two quick goals, including the game-winner, as the Vernon Venom beat Kelowna U14 Krush 3-1 in Thompson Okanagan Ringette League U12 action.

Hill’s first marker came just 32 seconds into the game off of a beautiful set up by Kristen Francks, then scored her second goal four minutes later, taking a feed from defensive teammate Kennedy Jackson.

After the Krush pulled to within a goal,  Makenna Jackson scored the insurance goal midway through the final frame. Jordan Tung picked up the win between the pipes.

The Vernon U12 Thunderwolves powered their way to a 5-3 win over the Kelowna Excelerators at Capital News Centre.

Madison Edgar put the T-Wolves up by two as she fought her way from the corner and buried one in the back of the net.

Kelowna answered with two quick goals but were soon silenced as Emily Gilman was sent in on a breakaway and undressed the goalie firing the ring into the top corner. Sierra Fernley scored a beauty on a nice feed from Jade Peterson.

The scoring continued as Gilman potted her second of the game after a beautiful tic-tac-toe passing play from Edgar and Hobenshield.
