The Rockets dumped the Thunderbirds 5-2 in Seattle Wednesday to sweep the best-of-seven series in four games.

Kelowna will face the winner of the other conference semifinal between the Portland Winterhawks and Victoria Royals. Portland leads 3-1 with Game 5 tonight in Portland.

In the Eastern Conference, two Vernon Minor Hockey products are still playing.

Curtis Lazar and the Edmonton Oil Kings lead the Brandon Wheat Kings 3-1 in their semifinal series. Lazar has a goal and three assists in the first four games.

Zach McPhee has two assists as the Kootenay Ice lead the Medicine Hat Tigers 2-1.
