Thanks to consistent offensive presence of players like Jiri Hudler (24) and Johnny Gaudreau (13)

Sorry, Vancouver: The Calgary Flames Aren’t Going Away (VIDEO)

Thanks to offensive leaders Johnny Gaudreau, Sean Monahan, and Jiri Hudler, the Flames have stayed in the thick of the West's playoff race

Any Canucks fans thinking they’d be battling California and California only this season will have to keep their eyes firmly fixed East instead.

The Flames refuse to listen to the oddsmakers – they won’t go quietly into that good night, and they continue to win and keep pace in the Pacific with Vancouver, Los Angeles, San Jose, and even Anaheim.

With another win Wednesday night – the video above was taken prior to the game, a 6-3 win over the Anaheim Ducks – the Flames moved to 79 points, just one shy of the Canucks and a few clear of both the Kings and Sharks.
