Make it a triple crown for the Lumby Bantam Stars.

Tage Kineshanko scored four times as the Stars grounded the Port Moody Panthers 9-1 in Sunday’s final of the Hope Wildcats Bantam Rec Hockey Tournament. The Stars have won three tourney titles this season, going 14-0-1.

Captain Conner Seehaver bagged a hat trick, while Linden Catt and Tye Krause produced singles.

The defence of Peter Romailler, Domenik Porteous and Matt Yaremcio was dynamic, Rory Campbell forechecked like a maniac and Emma Roine provided major grit to boost the Stars, who got several huge saves all weekend from Parker Stadnyk.

The Stars, who carry sponsorship from Great West Equipment and Green Velvet Lawn Care, shaded the Vancouver Thunderbirds 6-5 in the semifinals.

Kineshanko (3), Krause, Seehaver and Yaremcio handled the offence, while Stadnyk sparkled as Vancouver pulled their goaltender for the extra attacker with 1:45 to play. Krause took game MVP, while tireless Campbell was awarded the sportsmanship medal.

The Stars tied Semiahmoo Ravens of Surrey 4-4 in their preliminary opener with Campbell counting a pair.

Catt dialed a deuce as Lumby iced the Langley Eagles 5-1 Game 2, singles going to Yaremcio, Seehaver and Kineshanko.

The Stars won their pool by dispatching the Abbotsford Hawks 4-1 on snipes from Kineshanko (2), Noah Clarke and Catt. Emily Romailler was awarded most sportsmanlike player and Kineshanko pocketed the MVP.
