Rainshowers aren’t keeping everyone cooped up inside.

Golfers aren’t letting the showers cancel their tee times, as pictured at the Vernon Golf and Country Club this week.

The rain is expected to end this afternoon, when a mix of sun and cloud rolls in with a 40 per cent chance of showers, according to Environment Canada.

Good Friday and Saturday are calling for a mix of sun and cloud, followed by a sunny Sunday with a high of 15 and a mix of sun and cloud for Easter Monday before the rain returns Tuesdays.

Those travelling highways this Easter-long weekend are reminded to use caution as the snow level is 1,300 metres today.

According to Drive BC, the Okanagan Connector Highway 97C has compact snow snow and slush with slippery sections as well as some spots of limited visibility with fog.

The Coquihalla Highway 5 is also showing slushy with slippery sections.

Highway 97 near Monte Creek is showing water pooling, as is Highway 5 from Merritt to the unction with Highway 97D, to Logan Lake.

Highway 6 is reporting slushy with slippery sections.

Over on Highway 1 in Revelstoke there is falling ice and fog patches.
