The Vernon Thunderwolves dropped a pair of close U12 ringette games with the  Shuswap Storm last weekend.

The T-wolves lost the opener 6-5 Saturday with Sierra Fernley going bar down after a  great pass from Ally Hobenshield.

Taylor Stewart fired in a laser on a pass from Gracie Balcean, while Fernley added two goals with assists by Devyn Hildebrand.

Madison Edgar sped off on a breakaway and fired a shot five-hole to level the score with two minutes to play.

The Storm won 6-4 Sunday and Balcean was on fire, hammering shot after shot at a hot Shuswap goalie before sneaking one by her.

Taylor Stewart fed an excellent pass in to Fernley who sniped one top corner to tie the game 2-2.

After falling behind again, Madison Edgar sent Hobenshield in on a breakaway where she powered her way to the net and buried the ring. With under a minute to play, Stewart  raced in alone and undressed the goalie depositing the ring in the back of the net.
