Total Restoration Man of the Match Conan Ackert fed an early cross to Preston Tucker at the top of the 18. Tucker touched it forward and then was taken out from the side by a defender resulting in a penalty kick which Tucker bombed low.

Moments later, Turn-Key (7-1-1) took possession in the back, played the ball up right wing to Ackert, who played a perfect ball onto the foot of a wide open Nathan Tucker, who went low corner.

Jeremy Kler held a MFC defender on his own goal line which allowed Nathan Tucker to sweep in and dribble into the penalty area where he was taken down. Jai Gosia nicely converted the PK.

Nathan Whitling recorded MFC’s first goal early in the second half.

Reid Foerter of Turn-Key moved up to midfield for the second half, and with a run down the side, beat the defenders, got into the box and beat the keeper short side. Cam Cleary nailed a corker for Monashee’s final goal before Gosia poked the ball to Nathan Tucker who connected on a breakaway.

North Enderby Timber held on to third place behind Turn-Key by stopping Eagle Homes of Salmon Arm 3-1 at Marshall #2.

NET newbie Finlay McPhie, who just signed with the Thompson Rivers WolfPack, opened the scoring in the ninth minute by burying a Dexter James cross from the wing, followed six minutes later by a Brent Poulsen beauty as he beat a defender and curled one in from the top of the 18.

Speedster Mike Bennet buried a Poulsen rebound bar down at 80 minutes. Simplyfrugal.ca Man of the Match went to McPhie at the back.
