Make it nine straight wins for the Turn-Key Controllers in the North Okanagan Soccer League.

Thomas Pool scored once and set up another as the first-place Controllers grounded Monashee Surveying FC 5-1 Sunday night at MacDonald Park.

Turn-Key dominated early play against a 10-man Monashee side. After about 10 minutes, Evan Moore fed a through ball to Fabrice Fanfani, who worked his magic and beat two players before cutting inside and finishing bottom corner.

“The Frenchman must have been watching his team play in the Euros earlier this week,”  quipped keeper David Weir.

Pool broke through the Surveyor back line and calmly slotted home a low shot making it 2-0.

The Surveyors got back to full strength before Pool broke through once again to find Nicholas Macdonald creeping at the back post for the tap in. The controllers began to relax defensively and the Surveyors took full advantage of their first opportunity, making it 3-1 right before half-time.

Kanwar Pandher broke the ice in the second half as he beat two Monashee defenders and put the ball on his deadly right foot for a wicked finish.

Weir registered a series of second-half saves with Monashee pushing forward. Reid Foerster produced the final snipe and the Total Restoration Goal of the Game after striking a knuckler from distance which confused the keeper,

In other action, North Enderby Timber stayed close to Turn-Key by bouncing Peters Tirecraft 3-0 at Greater Vernon Athletics Park.

Brent Poulsen, who celebrated his 31st birthday, delivered a  cross to a tirecraft defender whose attempted clearance ended up and over keeper Peter Kaz.

Keeper-turned striker Victor Gouchee continued his scoring streak on a breakaway from a Finlay McPhie through ball.

Gouchee sent in Poulsen early in the second half with the birthday boy juking past two defenders inside the 18 before deking Kaz.

Right fullback Adam Marwood was the Burger King Man of the Match with some splendid offensive runs for NET.

Central midfielders Brock Reim and Clark Richardson were marvellous for Tirecraft with Richardson showing up after playing a handful of rugby games in the Penticton Harlequins Sunfest Tournament.

Meanwhile, Zeke Pescada pulled the hat trick as Penticton United rolled over Okanagan Spring Brewery 4-1 in Capri Insurance Men’s 45+ Soccer League play Monday night at City Park.

Pescada nailed a penalty kick after a slide tackle call at six minutes. The Humpbacks equalized at 21 minutes when Johnny Orton converted his 11th of the year on a breakaway pass by Dave Eddy.

Pescada swiped a loose ball and buried a shot from the 18 for the 2-1 goal three minutes later. He finished his hatty in the 57th minute with another PK, awarded after a trip inside the 18. Camel keeper Kelly Schley got a hand on the shot but it deflected into the corner.

Brandt’s Creek Pub held off Bosman Accounting of Vernon 3-1.

Paul McArdle came off the IR list and gave Bosman the early lead. Bosman defender Mike Grace blocked a sure goal with his hand and was sent off in the 40th minute. Andy Stevenson nailed the PK.

Chad Wardman and Manny Abubakary also tallied for the Pubbers. Bosman lost keeper Yogi Kongsdorf to injury in the 65th minute so midfielder Gerson Betman took over.

Dave Howes was stellar in the Bosman midfield, while  McCardle created lot of headaches for the Brandt’s defence. Kilmer Hagen rocked on the back line.

A game between Turn-Key Controls Ogopogos of Vernon and RPM Auto of Kelowna was postponed due to lightning.
