Vernon freestylers in Italy

FIS World Cup continues in Italy Jan. 25-27

Vernon’s Noah Morrison and Patrick Dew will take to the slopes this weekend as FIS World Cup action continues.

Slopestyle activity resumes this week in Italy with the third event of the season from Jan. 25 to 27.

This is the third time that Seiser Alm hosts a slopestyle competition.

With the X Games underway at the same time as the World Cup, this is the ideal occasion for the next generation of young skiers to showcase their talents for an international audience. Six Canadian skiers will compete this weekend, with qualifying runs on Friday, Jan. 25 and finals on Sunday.
