The Vernon Amateur Athletic Association (VAAA) has a financial jump-start on the 2022 track and field season.

The Daniel M. Poulin Law Corporation has donated $3,000 to the association, while pledging to donate the same amount for the 2023 and 2024 track and field seasons.

“A big thank you goes out to Mr. Poulin for his generosity,” said Onna Stoll, the association’s treasurer.

The VAAA is currently in the process of adding and updating its equipment, and its board members will soon deliberate on how to best make use of the funds.

The association is volunteer-run, and anyone wishing to offer support is invited to contact them at vaaatrack@gmail.com.

Registration for the 2022 track and field season is open now on the VAAA website.
