Mackenzie Kreeft and Steph Mintz of VSS fell in the Grade 8-9 Girls bronze final to Kyra Cabral and Gemma Davies of Immaculata Mustangs.
Panther teammates Avery Bridge and Hannah Nesbitt grounded Abi McCluskey and Annaka Ramsay of the Pen-High Lakers in Sunday’s Grade 10 girls bronze-medal match.
There were eight teams in the Grade 10 Girls division at City Park Hot Sands Beach.
Mikaylee Pucilowski and Amanda Hardy of Kelowna Christian Knights downed Jolene Lutz and Grace Freiheit of Kelowna Owls (21-10, 21-17) for gold.
It was an all KLO Middle School Cougars final with teammates Emily Draper and Quinci Birker defeating Aiden Lea and Alexa Eger (19-21, 21-14, 15-10) for gold.
The Grade 8-9 Boys bronze-medal game saw Avery Triggs and Luke Alder of the Seaton Sonics stop Nathan Milligan and Richard Xiang of Pen-High.
In Grade 11 and 12 Boys play, Liam Birker and Tyler Pomietlarz of the Owls toppled brothers Dane and Isaac Smit of OKM 2-1 (19-21, 21-18, 15-7). Ethan McCluskey and Tyler Berthelsen of Penticton defeated Dallas Zupp and Nick Alves of the Fulton Maroons for bronze.
Volleyball B.C. holds the Youth Sand Series stop Saturday at City Park and the Penticton Pro Beach series tourney Saturday, June 23 at Skaha Beach.
