Whitey collects fourth career ace

Steve White recorded his fourth career hole-in-one in the third annual Corky Agar Memorial Tournament

Steve White’s ball was flush against the flag stick on the 14th hole in the third annual Corky Agar Memorial Golf Tournament at Vernon.

White, a power winger with the Vernon Canadians, used a six-iron for his fourth career hole-in-one. Art Davison, Graydon Brown and Fakri Sidiquii witnessed the ace.

The scramble team of George Agar Jr., Jim Sparrow, Pete Murray and Doug Hackman won the tournament at seven-under.
