West Kelowna Warriors double Vernon Vipers 4-2 in B.C. Hockey League action Friday night at Royal LePage Place.

Captain Max French recorded a pair of assists in his return from injury to lift the host West Kelowna Warriors to a 4-2 win over the Vernon Vipers in B.C. Hockey League action Friday night at Royal LePage Place.

Ambrose Firkus collected the winner with less than five minutes left in regulation, and Matt Anholt added an empty-netter as West Kelowna took over second place in the Interior Division at 12-801-6. Aaron Hadley and Adam Tambellini countered for the Vipers, who are now last in the Interior at 10-12-0-7.

Shawn Hochhausen opened West Kelowna’s account in the final minute of the first period.

Vernon hosts the Alberni Valley Bulldogs tonight at Wesbild Centre.
