Blue Copper Capital has opened its doors in downtown Vernon.
The company’s primary focus is payday loans.
“We also offer longer term personal loans,” said Lauren Olson, manager of the Vernon branch.
“These loans are an option for some customers who are trying to get out of a loan-reloan cycle in payday loans or, for someone who needs a larger amount to, for example, fix their car or pay off an unexpected bill.”
Blue Copper Capital is based in Calgary and besides Vernon and Calgary, it has offices in Edmonton and Vancouver.
“As a smaller company in the financial services industry, our goal is to build great relationships with our clients and be actively involved in the community,” said Olson.
“As well, as being friendly and transparent we strive for the utmost in professionalism to ensure the best possible in customer care and satisfaction.”
