Interior Savings Credit Union has launched a program focused on seniors.

Interior Savings Credit Union is providing age-friendly business training to all of its staff.

The program, developed by the Age-Friendly Business Academy, raises awareness about some of the key and sometimes subtle challenges associated with getting older.

“There has never been a more important time to break down the stigmas surrounding age and to build a more inclusive and respectful community,” said Kathy Conway, Interior Savings CEO.

For a business to earn the age-friendly business certification, 75 per cent of its employees must complete the training.  To date, nearly 90 per cent of Interior Savings’ 500 employees have completed this program.

“We all have a role to play in helping to create a community where we feel welcome, acknowledged, safe and respected,” said Conway.
