Cadets graduate in Vernon

363 Basic Course cadets will be graduating from their three-week courses at Vernon Cadet Training Centre.

Cadets from the Basic Expedition Course practice canoe techniques on Okanagan Lake in preparation for their five-day expedition on the Thompson Plateau.

Cadets from the Basic Expedition Course will finish their three-week course on Friday with the Graduation Parade with cadets from band, fitness and sports, drill and ceremonial and marksmanship courses.

In total, 363 Basic Course cadets will be graduating from their three-week courses at Vernon Cadet Training Centre.

These sea, army, and air cadets from across Western Canada have completed training in a multitude of areas including drill and ceremonial, music, fitness and sports, marksmanship, and expedition.

The reviewing officer will be Lieutenant-Colonel Mike McGinty, Commanding Officer of the British Columbia Dragoons.
