Chopped Leaf restaurant opens in Summerland

The Chopped Leaf, a Canadian healthy eating chain, is celebrating it’s newly opened restaurant in Summerland with 50 free meals for its first customers.

The chain, which started in Kelowna, now has more than 110 locations. It offers fresh eating options for lunch and dinner, including customizable salads, bowls and wraps made with fresh ingredients.

“I’m excited to bring fresh and healthy food options that support an active lifestyle in my community of Summerland,” said franchisee, Lara Scarfo. “The Chopped Leaf’s commitment to fresh and diverse ingredients, along with its focus on community well-being, resonates deeply with me.”

She added that she values The Chopped Leaf’s commitment to fresh and diverse ingredients, along with its focus on community well-being.

“I aim to create lasting relationships with our customers and be recognized as a hub for wellness and good food,” she said.

“At The Chopped Leaf, we believe that healthy eating should never be boring,” said Genti Kongjika, executive vice-president of the restaurant chain. “Healthy food can be both nutritious and delicious and should make you feel good after you eat!”

The Summerland restaurant will hold a grand opening event on Saturday, April 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its location at 7519 Prairie Valley Rd. The first 50 guests will eat free, while all guests will receive 50 per cent off on the day. The restaurant will also hand out 50 small gift bags with swag on April 13.
