Ashley HomeStore is partnering with Mamas for Mamas to celebrate Giving Tuesday and support those affected by Okanagan wildfires in 2023.

The company is donating nearly $30,000 in Ashley store credits and funds to help families rebuild.

The donation includes $25,000 worth of store credits and $4,500 in funding to support immediate needs, such as household and hygiene products.

“Our company is passionate about giving back to our communities, and we love the mission of Mamas for Mamas - to lend a hand up, not a handout,” says Rebecca Peech with the Dufresne Group. “Their team works to ensure that financial needs are met, but also goes above and beyond to offer mentoring and other resources.”

This is the second initiative Ashley has partnered with Mamas for Mamas.

Eligible recipients are determined through vetting in partnership with on-site social workers.

Once selected, the recipients will be able to access their store credit for one year following the date it is issued.

More information about Mamas for Mamas programs, and how to access support, can be found on their website.
