The Pot O Gold Horse Show takes place Saturday at the Armstrong fairgrounds.

The event is a fundraiser for the B.C. Interior Morgan Horse Club.

“Folks are invited to come out and see horses of all breeds — Morgans, Welsh, Arabians, quarter horses, paint horses, miniatures horses and maybe some draft horses,” said Nancy Roman, with the club.

“All breeds can take part in this show.”

There are numerous classes in the competition, including halter, showmanship, driving, trail obstacles, English and western performance, costume, walk/trot/jog and 50-plus.

“Since some horse owners in our area are competitive and ride the circuit of horse shows, this show is a B.C. Heritage qualifying show,” said Roman.

The main show judge is Karan Moore from Grand Forks and the trail class judge is Spallumcheen resident Carmen Letawski.

“Bring the family, enjoy great food provided by Vernon Classic Catering and encourage our riders and drivers on,” said Roman.

“Admission is free. Hope to see you all there.”
