Clydesdales, Belgians, and Percherons are the three breeds of draft horses that will pull sleighs full of guests at the Historic O’Keefe Ranch this Christmas.

The O’Keefe Ranch is offering six nights of sleigh rides — on Dec. 22, 23, 24, 26, 29, 30, every half hour starting at 3:30 p.m. and the last ride is at 5:30 p.m.

Guests are welcome to come early and explore the historic village decorated for Christmas, visit with the animals, and take photos on an old fashioned sleigh. Everyone is encouraged to dress for the weather or bring a blanket or seat cushion. In the event of little or no snow, the horses will pull wagons in place of sleighs. The Ranch asks that guests please leave dogs in the comfort of their home.

The cost is $10 for children ages 4-12, $15 for adults, kids three and under are free and groups of six or more receive a 20% discount.

Tickets must be purchased in advance and are available online here or by calling 250-549-7469.
