The search is on for parks and playgrounds that need some tender loving care.
Nominations are currently being taken for BCAA Play, which will see this year’s winner receive up to $100,000 to rejuvenate a play area.
“It could be a park, a playground, a sporting facility or an after-school study area for example,” said Shawn Pettipas, BCAA’s manager of community impact.
“If it’s a place where kids can spend their time and develop valuable life skills, we want to hear about how it can be improved to make it a safer, better place for kids to play.”
Nominations are open until May 1 at www.BCAAplayhere.com.
The public will then vote for the winner from a shortlist determined by a judging panel, with the winning project announced in July.
