Star promotes mountain biking

Silver Star Mountain Resort has put together mountain bike program to get kids hooked on the sport.

The Cranked Kids Bike runs Wednesdays and Sundays in August.

“We are working with kids over four sessions to give them the skills and the passion to love mountain biking and to be safe and successful while out on the trails,” said Shane Landreville, mountain bike school manager.

Kids with all experiences on a mountain bike can join the program, and there are groups of kids from beginner to advanced.

“There is still space left to register your kids,” said Landreville.
