Several local police officers will be taking part in a Vernon event to raise funds for local kids in need.

Cops for Kids’ Clip in for Families, presented by CSN Collision Centres, will feature indoor cycling and a yoga class, with local instructors each teaching different classes for different interests and fitness abilities.

Ladies World Health and Fitness (4406 27th St.) is hosting the event Saturday, Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

All funds raised from the event will support Cops for Kids and the ongoing grant requests for local children facing illness, disability or traumatic crisis.

Each class is $25 per person and includes $10 towards a post-workout refreshment at Brown’s Social House, swag bags for all participants, fundraising awards, a silent auction and more.

“Gather a group of friends, or make a corporate team outing. Many different class lengths and times to choose from, so there is an option for everyone,” organizers said.
