Personal growth is at the forefront of the Queen Silver Star Excellence program.
In the months leading up to proclamation, all seven candidates spend time in classes each week to brush up on topics such as automotive, etiquette, financial awareness, hair care, health and fitness, local history, interview skills, makeup and skin care, modelling and deportment, self-defence and speechcraft.

The annual Talent Show, which overtook the Schubert Centre Sunday, Jan. 6, was an integral opportunity for the candidates to demonstrate the pose and presentation skills they have developed.
Royalty took the stage alongside the seven candidates for an afternoon of family fun and entertainment.
