It’s two-plus days until tickets for Carnival events go on sale.
Tickets for Carnival’s popular events will be on sale starting at 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, at the Carnival office on 35th Avenue beside the Priest Valley Arena/Gym complex, or online at vernonwintercarnival.com.
The 64th Vernon Winter Carnival runs Feb. 2-11, 2024.
Among the events on opening weekend of the Carnival are the always popular Sip and Savour (Friday, Feb. 2), and the Snowglobe Music Concert featuring local bands Dirt Road Kings and Cod Gone Wild Saturday, Feb. 3. The Parka Party is not going ahead due to Predator Ridge renovations.

The theme for the 64th event is Games.
Carnival Countdown was held Saturday, Nov. 18, at Spirit Square in Vernon, the Carnival’s pre-Christmas push.
Pre-Carnival events include the Downtown Vernon Association’s Gold Rush Scavenger Hunt, online auction, 50-50 draw, and the Carnival raffle, where you could win one of six prizes, including the grand prize of a Twin Anchors Houseboat Vacation valued at $7,600.
