The Funtastic Slo-Pitch and Music Festival wrapped up on Monday after three days of fun

It was a perfect weekend for music and slo pitch, as the Funtastic Festival wrapped up on Monday.

Hosted at the DND Grounds in Vernon, the annual event saw 128 teams take part in a slo pitch competition. Teams played Friday night through until Monday afternoon, with prizes given out for best costumes.

Participants were blessed with three days of perfect weather. There was also three nights of rocking music at the A&W Music Festival. Featuring The Yellow Brick Road, Tyler Joe Miller and The Young uns, 10 bands graced the stage, ranging from rock and roll to country and everything in between.

In addition to the sports and music, a silent auction took place, along with numerous family friendly activities on hand, to help make this year’s Funtastic the best yet.
