Blu and Kelly Hopkins are the feature performers at the Coldstream Coffee House show Feb. 20.
Blu and Kelly Hopkins are a songwriting, multi-instrumentalist duo who have recorded five successful CDs, with their latest, Home Fires, released in 2015.
They have performed at festivals, folk clubs, house concerts and coffee houses throughout B.C. and Alberta, including appearances at the Salmon Arm Roots and Blues Festival and performances with Valdy, Gary Fjellgaard, Bill Henderson, Todd Butler and many more.
Focusing on original material, their extensive repertoire lets them blend traditional and contemporary tunes into their show with a dash of humour to achieve an exciting yet mellow brew of good times and good tunes.
Blu and Kelly Hopkins play the Coldstream Coffee house at the Coldstream Women’s Institute Hall. Open mic starts at 7 p.m., feature performance starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $5 at the door.
