Some rural Enderby residents may notice a change in their water flow as work is underway this week
The Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) is undertaking leak detection work in the Mabel Lake Water Utility, starting on Tuesday, April 30 and is planned for the remainder of that week between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The work could cause cloudiness, air in the water, or temporary interruptions of water. Customers may wish to store a short-term supply of water before the work begins.
“If you experience a water interruption, please run a cold water tap closest to where the water enters your house before your hot water tank, home filtration, or taps with aerators, once service has been restored,” the RDNO advises. “An outside tap is preferred.”
Updates will be posted to www.rdno.ca/news (filter by Water Notices) and the RDNO’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/RDNorthOkanagan.
If you have any questions, contact the RDNO Utilities Department at 250-550-3700.
