PHOTOS: Seismic feel to SilverStar Mountain festival

The 10-day celebration of mountain culture was feeling the 90s vibe on Saturday

SilverStar Mountain had a seismic event take place over the Easter long weekend, as the Spring Mountain Festival took over the resort grounds.

The 10-day celebration of mountain culture kicked off on Friday, March 29. Called Seismic, the festival looks to bring together sport, business, art, culture, and community on the mountain.

Among the highlight events over the weekend was Retro Day, on Saturday. Resort goers dressed in their best 90s attire, and danced to tunes at the outdoor stage.

Sunday was an Easter egg scavenger hunt, with more live music, from DJ Mojo and Dj Labeat.

More live music will permeate the grounds throughout the week, along with trivia (Tuesday), a comedy show (Thursday) and pop-up park challenge (Friday).

The festival will conclude with the Teck Okanagan Zone Finals and a ski marathon, beginning on Saturday, April 6.
