A portion of Back Enderby Road will soon be closed for a full depth rebuild and road reclamation project, again.

The Township of Spallumcheen announced Wednesday that the road between Highway 97A and Mountain View Road will be closed to all traffic Monday, May 27, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. The closure comes after the same stretch of Back Enderby Road was closed on May 21.

Traffic will be able to detour to Highway 97A via Mountain View Road.

Okanagan Aggregates will be on site performing the work, and signage will be posted on Highway 97A and Mountain View Road indicating the scheduled closure.

Once the depth rebuild and road reclamation is complete, Back Enderby Road will return to single lane alternating traffic.

Perimeter Flagging will be on site, and the township asks that drivers observe all safety signage and equipment.
