UPDATE: Criminality expected in search for missing Vernon man

27-year-old Blayne Ferguson was last seen on Thursday, Sept. 21

The Vernon RCMP’s Serious Crimes Unit has taken control of the investigation into a missing Vernon resident, Blayne Keith Ferguson.

Criminality is expected and the RCMP has released an image of a vehicle believed to be associated with this investigation. The vehicle is a 2003, blue four-door Toyota Echo with B.C. license plate of SJ828K.

Investigators are specifically looking to speak to anyone who saw this vehicle, or has information about it’s whereabouts or activity between the afternoon of Thursday, Sept. 21 and noon on Friday, Sept. 22.

Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing 27-year-old man.

Blayne Ferguson was last seen on Thursday, Sept. 21, at approximately 2 p.m. in Vernon.

Ferguson is described six-feet-tall, slender build with red hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a red hoodie, camouflage pants and black shoes.
